Appnation
January 6-9, 2016

2016 events get off to a powerful start with Appnation VII. As a part of CES, Appnation is all about the business of apps and the consumer app economy. This year’s theme is “Acquire. Engage. Monetize,” which might be topics you have a minor interest in. Just maybe. And with a speaker lineup including representatives from Flipboard, the IAB, Citi, and The Weather Company, get ready to learn a lot.

Mobile World Congress
February 22-25, 2016
Barcelona, Spain

Why Mobile World Congress? Because mobile is everything. This huge show brings all things mobile to one place. There’s plenty of focus on apps, with the show’s App Developer Conferences (ADCs) and App Planet exhibition. With nearly 100,000 people from around the world in attendance, there’s bound to be some great networking too.

Apps World North America
May 11-12, 2016
Santa Clara, CA, USA

If you’re an app developer and you haven’t been to an Apps World conference yet, what are you waiting for? Last year’s Apps World North America brought over 10,000 app pros of all levels together. And the best part? Many of the tracks, including Droid World, Gaming World, and Developer World, are free!

If you can’t make it to the US, Apps World also has conferences in Germany and the UK next year too.

Pocket Gamer Connects San Francisco
July 7-8, 2016
San Francisco, CA, USA

Got mobile games? Then you’ll want Pocket Gamer Connects on your 2016 calendar. This conference features four tracks structured exclusively for mobile gaming. Last year’s event was fantastic – we’re definitely excited for this one!

Pocket Gamer is another global event powerhouse, so check out their other events in Europe and Asia next year.

MGF Seattle

To wrap up the list of this year’s must-do events, check out the Mobile Games Forums’ (MGF) annual stop in Seattle. This is another one for mobile gaming, and is great for staying on top of today’s best practices and tomorrow’s trends. Last year’s event featured speakers from mobile gaming’s biggest players – King, DeNA, Rovio, and so many more!
