Events are a great way to stay on top of the latest trends, meet industry leaders, and broaden your overall knowledge. From development tips to marketing strategies, there\u2019s always something new to learn!<\/p>\n

There are a ton of great app events out there, but here are a select few that should be on the top of your to-go list:<\/p>\n

2016 events get off to a powerful start with Appnation VII<\/em>. As a part of CES<\/em>, Appnation is all about the business of apps and the consumer app economy. This year\u2019s theme is \u201cAcquire. Engage. Monetize,\u201d which might be topics you have a minor interest in. Just maybe. And with a speaker lineup including representatives from Flipboard<\/em>, the IAB<\/em>, Citi<\/em>, and The Weather Company<\/em>, get ready to learn a lot.<\/p>\n

Mobile World Congress<\/a>

Why Mobile World Congress<\/em>? Because mobile is everything. This huge show brings all things mobile to one place. There\u2019s plenty of focus on apps, with the show\u2019s App Developer Conferences (ADCs)<\/em> and App Planet<\/em> exhibition. With nearly 100,000 people from around the world in attendance, there\u2019s bound to be some great networking too.<\/p>\n

Apps World North America<\/a>

If you\u2019re an app developer and you haven\u2019t been to an Apps World<\/em> conference yet, what are you waiting for? Last year\u2019s Apps World North America<\/em> brought over 10,000 app pros of all levels together. And the best part? Many of the tracks, including Droid World<\/em>, Gaming World<\/em>, and Developer World<\/em>, are free!<\/p>\n

If you can\u2019t make it to the US, Apps World also has conferences in Germany<\/a> and the UK<\/a> next year too.<\/p>\n

Got mobile games? Then you\u2019ll want Pocket Gamer Connects<\/em> on your 2016 calendar. This conference features four tracks structured exclusively for mobile gaming. Last year\u2019s event was fantastic – we\u2019re definitely excited for this one!<\/p>\n

MGF Seattle<\/a>

To wrap up the list of this year\u2019s must-do events, check out the Mobile Games Forums\u2019 (MGF)<\/em> annual stop in Seattle. This is another one for mobile gaming, and is great for staying on top of today\u2019s best practices and tomorrow\u2019s trends. Last year\u2019s event featured speakers from mobile gaming\u2019s biggest players – King<\/em>, DeNA<\/em>, Rovio<\/em>, and so many more!<\/p>\n
