Organic

What is Organic?

In digital marketing, organic refers to app installs or traffic that occurs without the use of any paid advertising. Organic traffic strategies, such as ASO and SEO, are often used together with paid advertising as part of a comprehensive marketing strategy.

What Are Examples of Organic?

Search Engine Traffic: Users find your website through search engines like Google and Bing without clicking on any paid ads. Through search engine optimization (SEO), brands can increase their ranks on keywords to boost user traffic.

App Store Traffic: Users find your website through app stores such as Google Play Store and Apple App Store without clicking on any paid ads. Through app store optimization (ASO), apps can increase their ranks to boost user acquisition.

Referrals: Users share your product or service with others leading to new customers without paid advertising. Typically, users will receive something in exchange for a referral so there is a cost involved in this case.
