Server-to-Server (S2S)

What is Server–to-Server (S2S)?

Server-to-server (S2S), also known as postbacks, is a method of tracking between two servers, typically used in digital advertising to record impressions, clicks, user actions, and other conversion data. Unlike pixel tracking, S2S occurs directly between servers ensuring more accurate, secure, and reliable transfer of information.

In rewarded advertising, when a user completes a specific action, the event information is sent from the advertiser’s server to the ad network’s server to the publisher’s server. From there, the publisher can reward the user automatically.
